Description

Beautiful new SHORT version of our classic little bootie slippers, still hand-crocheted, made with soft 100% natural, renewable, and biodegradable sheep and Peruvian alpaca wool. Their soles are, as always, made from genuine leather scraps lined with sheepskin. Not only are these little slippers adorable, they are also non-slip for little feet learning to walk, in addition to staying very well in place thanks to a small cotton cord. This model, although more discreet and less warm, has been designed to fit little feet just as well. However, we particularly love it for toddlers: 2 to 5T!

Our wool in the exclusive color Les petits Tousi is composed of 90% sheep and 10% Peruvian alpaca. Moreover, the natural wool always carefully selected helps keep feet warm during winter - while breathing very well - making them perfect for all seasons!

Available in sizes newborn to 5T. Do not hesitate to check the Size Chart tab to choose the right size for your child. In case of hesitation, choose a larger size. The size 6-18m is larger than the classic 6-12m.

All our products are handmade in Quebec, by moms and women of all ages!

N.B. As these slippers are knitted with high-quality natural wool, it is normal for them to produce small fuzz after a few uses. Over time, this will completely go away. Otherwise, you can easily use a small lint razor and they will become like new again!

Colors may vary slightly.

Care
Sheep wool is antibacterial, so it is not necessary to wash the slippers unless they have had a bath of coffee, vomit, or mud. In extreme cases, the slippers can also be put in the washing machine on a delicate cycle with blankets or towels, always with a mild soap and in cold water. However, it is really preferable to wash them by hand, as infrequently as possible. Please note that they do not go in the dryer.
1. Remove the laces.
2. Ideally wash by hand with Marseille soap or country soap in cold water. You can also use a specialized soap for wool that you can find here.
3. Let air dry for 24 hours.
4. Remove the pilling with a fabric shaver that you can find here.
5. Replace the laces.
And there you go, your slippers have regained their youthful look!
