Care
Sheep wool is antibacterial, so it is not necessary to wash the slippers unless they have had a bath of coffee, vomit, or mud. In extreme cases, the slippers can also be put in the washing machine on a delicate cycle with blankets or towels, always with a mild soap and in
cold water.
However, it is really preferable to wash them by hand, as infrequently as possible. Please note that they do not go in the dryer.
1. Remove the laces.
2. Ideally wash by hand with Marseille soap or country soap in cold water. You can also use a specialized soap for wool that you can find here.
3. Let air dry for 24 hours.
4. Remove the pilling with a fabric shaver that you can find here.
5. Replace the laces.
And there you go, your slippers have regained their youthful look!
