Size guide

The measurements indicated in the size chart are the exact measurements of the slippers. As the slippers are made with natural materials, they will take the shape of your child's foot. Do not hesitate to contact us if you hesitate between two sizes. It will be our pleasure to guide you towards the best choice for your mini.

Children's slippers

To find out which size is right for your child, measure his foot and calculate about 0.50'' more. You can take a larger size if needed, you will just have to tie the cords tighter for the first few weeks/months. The size may vary depending on the age of the child. This is an average based on the best of our knowledge for a normal sized child.

Slippers for adults

Our classic adult slippers will get a lot bigger after wearing them for just a few hours. It is therefore normal and desirable that they are very tight when you wear them for the first time. They will enlarge 1 to 1.5 inches in length after wearing them.

Loafers for adults

The measurement in PO and CM corresponds to the measurement of the knitted slipper (soles and wool). Your foot measurement should be the same as the slipper or slightly smaller. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!

Please note that our loafers will expand a lot after wearing them for just a few hours. It is therefore normal and desirable that they fit very snugly on your foot when you first wear them. They will enlarge 1-1.5" after you wear them, and take the shape of your foot quickly. A size that is too big will risk slipping off your feet and will be less comfortable.

Care

Here are a few caring tips for your products.

The formation of small foams is completely normal as we use 100% natural sheep's wool which is not spun. Over time, they will disappear completely. To try to reduce the formation of foam, here is what you can do:

Carry the slippers in their little bag

Store the slippers in their small bag or in a closed place when not in use

Remove small scum using a scissor or, even better, using an electric clothes shaver (easily found at big box stores, on Amazon or at a hardware store).

Sheep's wool is antibacterial, so there's no need to wash slippers unless they've been bathed in pee, vomit, or mud. In extreme cases, the slippers can also be put in the washing machine on the delicate cycle with blankets or towels, always with mild soap and cold water. However, it is really better to wash them by hand. Please note that they are not dryer safe.

1. Remove the cords.

2. Ideally wash by hand with Marseille soap in cold water.

3. Allow to air dry for 24 hours.

4. Remove foam with a clothes razor.

5. Replace the cords.

There you go, your slippers have regained their youthful look!

We use a small cotton cord to tie our slippers, which we finish with a simple little knot. To prevent the cord from fraying, you just have to make sure that the knot stays in place at each end of the cord. If your cords are not salvageable, it is possible to purchase a new set right here. To order a repair kit, contact us here .
As we use unspun natural wool, it is unfortunately not foolproof and, despite its great qualities, it remains fragile. We take care to double several rows of our slippers in order to strengthen them and to avoid as much as possible that holes form with wear, but unfortunately it is not impossible for this to happen, depending on how the person wearing the walking slippers (from the heel or on the toes).
If this happens, it is possible to order a small repair kit to extend the life of your loved ones!
